WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 4/1/2021
Aromas of white spring flower, white orchard fruit and a whiff of brioche lead the way. On the crisp palate, an elegant perlage accompanies creamy yellow apple, pear and lemon drop. (Kerin O’Keefe)
RP9191 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 18th Feb 2021
An Italian classic and a terrific value, the Ferrari NV Trento Brut is all Chardonnay that opens to crystalline luminosity and brilliance. The bouquet is straightforward and confident, delivering a clear and precise message of good cheer and easy-drinking appeal. There are notes of citrus, white peach, breakfast pastry and drying notes of crushed mineral. This is the quintessential Italian aperitivo wine. (Monica Larner)
JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, July 5, 2021
An immediately appealing sparkling wine, brimming with apple and lemon aromas, but also delicate yeasty and freshly baked white-bread notes. The creamy mousse complements the lively acidity very nicely and, in spite of the impression of lightness, the finish is long with a spot-on balance. Drink now.
WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2019
Comforting aromas of oven-baked bread and Bartlett pear waft out of the glass. On the polished, refreshing palate, a continuous perlage frames creamy yellow apple, nectarine and citrus zest alongside a hint of baking spice.
WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2012
This bright sparkler delivers the sophisticated flavors of fresh citrus and ripe apricot that one should expect in a metodo classico sparkler from Italy. Background notes of honey and baked bread give it dimension and texture.
SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Apr 30, 2016
Fresh and balanced, with a fine, lacy bead and a streak of salinity underscoring the Asian pear, ground ginger, hazelnut and lemon zest notes. Very drinkable. Drink now through 2019. 200,000 cases made. (Alison Napjus)
SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Mar 21, 2024
A refined and expressive sparkler in an aperitif style, this is bright and buoyant on the palate, with the fine, lacy mousse carrying a mouthwatering range of pineapple, mandarin orange peel and white cherry fruit, accented by ground ginger, white blossoms and fleur de sel. Drink now through 2029. 296,667 cases made, 33,945 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)

Italy is famous for its powerful, sleek, and elegant reds wines from ancient growing areas with legendary names such as Chianti, Barolo, Barbaresco, Montepulciano. Italian white wines are also gaining popularity: Orvieto, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon are excellent examples of Italian white wines.

Wines of Italy are complex and flavorful, much like the culture that is their source and the cuisine that is their match.

WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 4/1/2022
Airy and bright, this sparkling blend of Pinot Nero and Chardonnay offers delicate scents recalling brioche and white stone fruit with a whiff of yellow spring flower. The tangy palate features pomegranate, apple and orange zest notes before closing on a note of white almond. (Kerin O’Keefe)
JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, July 5, 2021
A cornucopia of red-berry aromas pours from the glass of this effusive and delightful rosé and the balance of fruit, crisp acidity and a touch of creaminess from yeast contact makes this an easy sparkling wine to enjoy. So much fruit at the finish, it’s hard to resist! Drink now.
RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 18th Feb 2021
This is another classic sparkling wine happily enjoyed in households and at restaurants (before COVID-19) across Italy. The Lunelli family has created an accessible and cheerful wine for the best of times (that we can’t wait to get back to). The Ferrari NV Trento Metodo Classico Rosé Brut shows a bright raspberry pink color with faint copper highlights. Wild cherry, peach and cassis characterize the bouquet and cede to light touches of toasted almond and baked bread. To the palate, this sparkler shows a lean, steely approach that is terrific for any festive occasion. (Monica Larner)
SP8888 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 6, 2019
Delicate herb and spice notes lace the peach and raspberry fruit in this fresh version, with a creamy, lively bead. Offers a subtle, stone-tinged finish. Drink now. 40,000 cases made, 2,198 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)
