"The 2018 Marsannay Village, a blend of several parcels, is high-toned on the nose of blueberry and black cherries; touches of India ink and incense evolve in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and grippy, with dense tannins, a grainy texture, flavors of black cherries and black currant fruit and a lightly spiced finish. This does not quite reach my expectations from barrel." (88 pts.)
