The 2015 Chardonnay Estate is intensely scented of lemon zest, yuzu, mandarin peel and freshly sliced apples with touches of crushed rocks, honeysuckle and baking bread. Medium to full-bodied, it has an understated minerally/savory personality in the mouth with a beautifully creamy texture and harmonious freshness, finishing long and chalky. 429 cases produced.

JD95+95–97 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - August 4, 2020
Not yet bottled, the 2018 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict is still resting in 20% new French oak. Coming from a great site on the southern side of the Sta. Rita Hills, it offers a rocking bouquet of lemon curd, chamomile, toasted bread, spice, and a touch of crushed stone-like flinty minerality. Beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, and elegant on the palate, it’s another brilliant wine from this estate. (Jeb Dunnuck)

The 2020 Le Haut-Lieu Moelleux Première Trie is pretty gorgeous with its sweet embrace (71g/L residual sugar) caressing the palate like a silky-smooth velouté. It sits calmly in the mouth, showing the typical fruit-forward character of the site, all oranges, chamomile and violets. The deeply satisfying finish provides the merest of grips, and fresh acid makes your mouth water. Already delicious in its youth, this wine has the concentration, acidity and sweetness to age gracefully, as Huet fans will know well. (Rebecca Gibb MW)
RP95+95–96 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 13th May 2021
The citrus-colored sample of the 2020 Vouvray Le Haut-Lieu Moelleux Première Trie still shows a very fine CO2 perlage in the glass that opens with clear and concentrated but also lush fruit and floral and chalky aromas, with lemon confit and fig mustard. Very elegant and even playful on the palate, with finely vivacious acidity, this full-bodied, silky and salty-piquant Haut-Lieu is beautiful in its terroir expression that favors a fruitier, fresher and more elegant style that is impossible not to like. Some of our readers might find it too vivacious and salty (while looking for hedonistic sweet wines), but as a critic, I am totally fine with this style. The aging potential should be great. Tasted in May 2021.

This lovely wine elegantly layers lots of complexity with green melon, yellow fig and quince paste notes, underscored with ginger, honeysuckle, chamomile and marzipan elements. Complex, showcasing both power and grace. Drink now through 2036. 1,000 cases made. (Gillian Sciaretta)

Aromas of honeysuckle, lemon grass and citrus follow through to a medium body with fine tannins and a fresh, bright finish. Lots of lemon rind at the end. Drink or hold.
RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 5th Aug 2021
The 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey is a fine success, offering up aromas of citrus oil, white flowers, nutmeg and smoke. Medium to full-bodied, bright and chiseled, with fine depth at the core and a saline finish, this is certainly oak-inflected in style but integrates that patina more completely than the Vauprin.

RP9696 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 25th Aug 2022
The 2020 Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese offers a remarkably coolish, very bright, precise and delicate nose of very fine Riesling fruit and flinty slate aromas. Saline, perfectly round and refined on the palate, this is a filigreed but lush and oh-so-delicate and airy, virtually celestial Himmelreich with crystalline, highly delicate acidity. This is a pristine, light yet long and saline, incredibly frisky and elegant Mosel Spätlese whose clarity and finesse is mind-blowing. An incomparable beauty. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP 02 22 in July 2022. (Stephan Reinhardt)
JS9595 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, November 10, 2022
The concentrated and almost enveloping peach and apricot fruit, together with the racy acidity and the enormous herbal and mineral freshness, make this a dazzling Spatlese. Very pure finish, with a delicate note of floral honey, but only a hint of sweetness. Drink or hold. (James Suckling)

JD9393 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 11/8/2021
An up-front, pretty version of this cuvée that leads with its fruit, the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vieilles Vignes Blanc offers lots of honeyed pineapple, white flowers, quince, and subtle toasty notes to go with medium to full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It shows some classic bitter almond and minerality with time in the glass and has a great texture, good overall freshness, and a great finish. (Jeb Dunnuck)
SP9191 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2021
There’s a flashy shortbread aromatic leading off here, but this stays bright and lively thanks to well-defined yellow apple and mirabelle notes. Verbena and quinine underscore the finish, adding focus and length. Delicious. Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc and Picpoul. Drink now through 2022. 500 cases made, 50 cases imported. (James Molesworth)

A concentrated, multilayered wine that is richly styled yet bristling with racy energy, featuring juicy apple and creamed pear flavors marked by ginger, cinnamon and allspice accents, with a firming core of salty mineral. Delicious now, this will only improve with time in bottle. Best from 2024 through 2030. 1,650 cases made. (Alison Napjus)

RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 29th Oct 2021
The 2020 Chardonnay slowly unfurls to reveal notes of key lime pie, yuzu and lemongrass, plus minerally suggestions of wet pebbles, chalk dust and brine. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers exhilarating tension and a zippy backbone, breaking through to fantastic citrusy intensity and a long chalky finish. 1,945 cases were made. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)
VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Jan 2022
The 2020 Chardonnay is bright and floral, with lovely energy and tons of character Lemon peel, white flowers and white pepper give the 2020 a brilliant upper register. Partially blocked malolactic fermentation keeps the flavors vibrant. Most of this fruit is from a site in Carneros. (Antonio Galloni)
JD9090 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/4/2022
There are two Chardonnays from this estate. Starting with the 2020 Chardonnay, it reveals a light gold hue as well as attractive notes of honeyed citrus and subtle tropical fruits, as well as a touch of brioche and spice. Nicely textured, medium-bodied, and balanced, it’s well done and will keep for 2–4 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)
