This has some flesh to envelop the peach, apple, lemon and stony mineral flavors. Balanced, with the flavors building nicely to a lingering conclusion. Enjoyable now, but there's no rush. Drink now through 2027. 4,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported. (Bruce Sanderson)

If freshness is the challenge, this very light yet vibrant bottling by Chad Melville is a champion. Aromas of pear flesh and lime blossom lead into a sip that dances across the tongue with flavors of Asian pear, white melon and lemon juice, finishing with a hint of intriguing ash. The wine still zips days later.

The 2017 Chardonnay Estate Inox is terrific. Fresh, vibrant and nuanced, the 2017 is absolutely delicious. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint, white pepper and bright saline notes all punctuate this super-expressive Chardonnay from Melville. (Antonio Galloni)

The 2017 Chardonnay Clone 76 Inox is seen as the flagship release. It has malolactic fermentation blocked and sees five months on lees before bottling. This medium-gold colored effort has a beautiful bouquet of ripe salted orchard fruits, crisp pineapple, spice, and dried earth-like minerality. It’s medium-bodied, has a layered, rounded texture, good acidity, and a great finish. (Jeb Dunnuck)

This ripe wine combines typical Chablis steeliness with rich apple flavors and succulent acidity. The young texture promises good things, full of freshness now and likely to develop a riper character as it matures. Drink from 2020.

The 2018 Ribolla Gialla Vare Vineyard is so expressive and so distinctive. Dried pear, hazelnut, orange peel, sage and spice all develop in the glass, but it is the wine’s phenolic intensity that stands out most. Then again, the feeling of structure is exactly what Ribolla Gialla is all about. The Arnot Roberts Ribolla is a serious white that will offer its finest drinking at the dinner table.

Burgundian notes of crushed citrus, white flowers, salty minerality, orange pith, and honeysuckle all emerge from the 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine Mule Blanche, and it’s fresh, medium to full-bodied, concentrated and elegant on the palate. Give it a year or two. (Jeb Dunnuck)
VN9292 pts. - Vinous - May 2020
Vivid straw. Tangerine, peach and chamomile on the fragrant nose, along with subtle honey and tarragon nuances. Sappy, expansive orchard and pit fruit flavors show very good concentration, velvety texture and a refreshingly bitter touch of orange zest. Finishes youthfully chewy, long and subtly spicy, leaving a hint of pear nectar behind.
JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Friday, October 11, 2019
Attractive white-peach, banana and melon aromas with a sleek, fresh and fleshy feel to the palate. Supple, long and elegant with apples, papaya and melon in abundance. Good weight and very well balanced. Drink or hold.

An alcohol content of 9.5% signals that this is one of the many vintage 2018 Kabinetts whose authors have allowed fermentation to proceed a bit further than usual so as to avoid extraneous or otherwise excess sweetness. In the event, this Kabinett is still very obviously sweet, and its syrupy midpalate expression of pear and pineapple—anticipated on the nose—seems decidedly more Spätlese- than Kabinett-like. Fortunately, mint suffusion has a welcome cooling effect. The feel is glossy but with some sense of buoyancy. Nut brittle with it bittersweet and caramel aspects pulls the finish in a confectionary direction. I’ve no doubt this will outlive my “drink by” date but I’m skeptical of its meriting longer holding. RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Dec 2022
The 2021 Uni White is a blend of 70% Roussanne and 30% Chardonnay matured in neutral 500-liter puncheons. The nose is nutty and yeasty with a core of burnt lemon and floral potpourri, and the medium-bodied palate is yeasty and refreshing with a long, textural finish. 2,200 cases were produced. (Erin Brooks)
WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022
This blend of 70% Roussanne and 30% Chardonnay features a sea urchin sketch on the label. The wine is aptly crafted for its namesake, with enough heft and acidity to pair with the shellfish’s briny richness. Aromas of cantaloupe, white flower and light wool lead into a palate where lime pith and melon meet cold steel minerality. (Matt Kettmann)

Strikingly cool, firm and mineral for an off-dry riesling, this is sleek and super-crisp with acidity that some may find a bit challenging, but we love it. Excellent aging potential. Drink or hold.

VN8888 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2022
The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Marie-Antoinette comes mostly from Vergisson parcels on southerly-exposed vines, matured in stainless-steel on the fine lees for 12 months. It has a taut, minimal, steely bouquet that offers discrete saline/smoky scents. The palate is well balanced with grapefruit and touches of orange rind. Quite sapid with tropical hints towards the finish, though it is never an opulent Pouilly-Fuissé. It just expresses the warmth of the vintage. (Neal Martin)

A very elegant Kabinett with a wide spectrum of white and yellow fruit aromas and just a hint of something exotic. Simultaneously sleek, well-structured and polished, this is an ideal introduction to the category. Drink or hold.
SP9191 pts. - Wine Spectator - Oct 15, 2023
This has good concentration to the richly styled profile of apple, warm peach and mulling spices. Packs a savory, earthy chord that prevails, with dried garrigue, salty lime and bitter citrus pith. Shows citrusy acidity that carries the weight and sweetness nicely through the petrol-edged finish. Drink now through 2028. 2,033 cases made, 130 cases imported. (Kristen Bieler)

Apricot, sage, chamomile, dried flowers and almond notes all run through this resonant, inviting, wonderfully delineated, vibrant 2018 Chardonnay Chapel Vineyard. The 2018 has tremendous personality and tons of character.
WS9090 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 10/20
Herbal notes follow along with this wine’s zesty citrus-fruit flavors — it brings to mind ripe oranges, pomelo and the tense acidity of grapefruit. There’s also a little sunny baked-citrus character against the coolness. For grilled fish.
