Focused aromas of white flower, cashew cream and coconut flesh doused in lime juice show on the nose of this bottling from the historic estate. Bright acidity and earthy minerality kick off the palate, slicing through the flavors of cut apple and lime. (Matt Kettmann)

Light, shimmering yellow-gold. Pungent, mineral-accented orchard and pit fruit aromas; floral and herb nuances add complexity. Chewy and broad on the palate, offering bitter citrus pith, pear nectar, dried peach and honeysuckle flavors that are sharpened by a gingery nuance. Closes with firm grip and very good persistence, leaving a dusty mineral note behind.

CrossBarn Chardonnay

2022 / 750 ml.

JD9292 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 7/21/2023
The 2022 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast takes on a touch deeper straw appearance but is still pale yellow and offers notes of wet stone, ripe peach, and melon rind. It’s full-bodied, with a rounded mouthfeel and good lifted freshness, more ripe peach, melon, and flowers and a good finish. This attractive white also reveals a touch of warming spice. Drink it over the next few years. (Audrey Frick)
RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 14th Dec 2023
The 2022 Chardonnay, made with 98% estate fruit, is open and perfumed with scents of fresh quince, yellow apples, cashews, acacia and bread dough. The light-bodied palate features generous, crunchy fruit, a touch of roundness to its texture, tangy freshness and a long, ethereal finish. This is very easy to drink! 21,256 cases produced. (Erin Brooks)
JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, July 3, 2023
