    RP91+91–93 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 27th Aug 2015
The only 2013 I was able to taste from this estate, the 2013 Syrah Patrina offers full-bodied richness and depth, lots of dark fruits, cassis, licorice and graphite, perfect ripeness and a polished, elegant personality. Shining for its purity, it’s ready to go and will shine on release.

    2015 / 750 ml. | Item#83277

    WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2017
The approachable nose of this wine shows baked blackberry pie in vanilla crust, with touches of dried purple flowers. The palate is similarly crowd-pleasing, with dark berry and baking spice flavors given intriguing depth through hints of game and rosemary.
    VN8989 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2017
The 2015 Syrah Tous les Jours is one of the very best values readers will find in California Syrah. Inky and plush on the palate, with soft contours and striking depth, the 2015 will offer exceptional drinking for another handful of years, perhaps more. It is an absolutely delicious wine in every way.
    RP8888 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 29th Sep 2017
The 2015 Syrah Tous les Jours has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and slightly reduced/rubbery nose to begin, giving way to notes of black and red cherries, black plums and mulberries, plus touches of tar and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, with a nice chewy texture and plenty of earthy black fruit in the mouth, it has a pleasantly savory, if relatively uncomplicated, character.

Au Bon Climat Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard

    Santa Barbara Historic Vineyards Collection
    2014 / 750 ml. | Item#84726

    VN9494 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2016
The 2014 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is rich, textured and absolutely gorgeous. Lemon confit, dried flowers, pastry and a hint of new oak all meld together in a sumptuous, textured Chardonnay that captures the essence of site. The French oak is a bit apparent at this stage, but another 6–12 months in bottle should do the trick. This is a superb wine from one of California’s true heritage sites.
    RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Aug 2016
All of these latest Chardonnays from winemaker Jim Clendenen are outstanding. Starting out, the 2014 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard offers classic notes of cream corn, sautéed apple, white peach and flowers, with building richness and fabulous purity on the palate. Barrel-fermented and aged 20 months in 50% new French oak, it should have a decade of longevity.

Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

    2015 / 750 ml. | Item#88010

    WE9797 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 3/1/2018
Vintner Austin Hope, whose family is intertwined in the rise of Paso Robles, spent years working to release a wine of this caliber. Dark and thick in the glass, aromas of black currant and blueberry meet with roasted coffee, chocolate syrup and baked plum on the wondrous nose. The palate is soft and extremely expressive, with blueberry, black pepper, firm midpalate tannins and a finish that’s redolent of cappuccino candies.

    RP8787 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Aug 2016
Giving up plenty of spice, sweet cherries, hints of framboise and dried strawberries, the 2014 Pinot Noir Firepeak is elegant, silky and nicely balanced on the palate. It has plenty of charm and is perfect for drinking over the coming 2–4 years.

    2015 / 750 ml. | Item#70682

    RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 29th Sep 2017
A blend of 43% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 14% Mourvèdre and 8% Counoise, the 2015 Cuvée le Bec has a medium garnet-purple color and is scented of cherry pie, raspberry preserves and spice cake with hints of potpourri, baking spices and black pepper. Full-bodied and decadently fruited in the mouth, the spicy red berry preserves flavors are well-framed by rounded tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and peppery.
    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2017
The 2015 Cuvée Le Bec, Steve Beckmen’s entry-level red, is quite tasty. In this vintage, Grenache set was more generous than the Syrah, where yields were decimated. The ripeness of the year comes through nicely in the intense dark cherry fruit, tobacco and licorice flavors.
