The picturesque South Island of New Zealand is home to five renowned wine regions, each with a number of quality producers. Marlborough is famous for producing some of New Zealand's crisp and zesty Sauvignon Blancs, while Central Otago is home to some terrific Pinot Noirs. You'll also find great wines in the other regions: Canterbury, Nelson, and Waipara Valley.
