    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#77877

    JS9393 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, February 3, 2022
This is really delicious with berries, cherries, crushed stones, slate and dried rosemary. Subtle and flavorful at the same time. Medium tannins that are polished and pretty. Spices at the end. Grenache, as you may know already. Drink or hold.

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#83519

    WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 6/30/2021
Clos de los Siete almost never fails, and this version from a ripe and easy vintage is just that: ripe and easy. Inky blackberry and black currant aromas show a waft of campfire creosote, while this feels big and round, with plenty of mouth-blackening fruit. Oak-aided blackberry, cassis and chocolate flavors come with a hint of herbs, while the finish is smooth and mild. Drink through 2023.

Dense and powerful, with plenty of loamy notes to the dark cherry and roasted plum flavors that show creamy accents. Ends with dark chocolate on the finish. Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2024. 650,000 cases made, 22,400 cases imported.

  4. Boundary Breaks Vineyard Riesling Dry No. 239

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#80092

    RP9191 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 3rd Jun 2021
The 2019 Dry Riesling No. 239 comes in with eight grams of residual sugar, 7.8 of total acidity and 12.5% alcohol. There were 2,750 cases produced from vines planted in 2009, 2010 and 2017. Tight, transparent and pure, this elegant Riesling shows off lifted fruit and a lean but precise finish. A bit mute in its youth, this is going to need a year, at least, to open and blossom. It should hold well for a decade or more thereafter. It was surprisingly understated just now, but I think it will eventually be a contender for best in the brand.
    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Oct 31, 2021
A bright, floral style with lots of honeysuckle and acacia notes leading the way for lemon peel and yellow apple fruit flavors, followed by a zingy finish. Drink now through 2024. 2,500 cases made.
