  1. Novellum Chardonnay

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#79561

    JD9494 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 3/22/2021
A richer styled wine (I’ve compared this cuvée to a Chardonnay from Mark Aubert), the 2020 Novellum has a medium gold hue as well as a rich, powerful bouquet of caramelized lemon, honeyed almonds, candle wax, and toasted bread. Rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, and balanced, this is another no brainer purchase. (Jeb Dunnuck)

  2. La Colline aux Fossiles Chardonnay

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#95542

    JD9494 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 3/22/2021
All Chardonnay brought up in used demi-muids, the 2019 La Colline Aux Fossiles sports a medium gold hue to go with terrific stone fruits, caramelized citrus, white flowers, and honeysuckle-like aroma and flavors as well as a beautiful sense of minerality that emerges with time in the glass. Medium to full-bodied and beautifully textured, with a layered mouthfeel and a great finish, it’s another knockout Chardonnay from the team of Eric Solomon and Jean-Marc Lafage. (Jeb Dunnuck)

  3. Julien Brocard Chablis Boissonneuse

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#95780

    VN91+91–93 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2020
The 2019 Chablis Vigne de la Boissonneuse sported a heavy reduction on the nose that made this bottle difficult to read. The palate is taut and crisp, featuring lemon and orange peel, and quite saline on the midpalate, with an assertive, waxy-textured finish. This is a mercurial Chablis and it will be fascinating to revisit after some bottle age.
    WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2020
Citrus brightness immediately becomes evident on this wine’s lively nose, with a sense of boxwood that makes things even fresher. The palate combines freshness and ripeness, majoring on white and green pear. The finish is balanced, juicy, rounded and bright.

  4. Gilbert Picq & ses Fils Chablis Dessus La Carrière

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#98815

    RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st Jul 2022
Impeccably balanced, Picq’s 2020 Chablis Dessus la Carrière unwinds in the glass with scents of crisp white peach and linden blossom mingled with oyster shell and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and satiny, it’s bright and precise, with a fleshy core of fruit and a long, saline finish. (William Kelley)
    VN90+90–92 pts. - Vinous - Oct 2021
The 2020 Chablis Dessus La Carrière has a slightly reduced nose, but one can still gauge the concentration in this Chablis. Touches of honeysuckle and melted wax eventually emerge. The palate is fresh and saline on the entry, then a little herbaceous, strict and linear, with a fine bead of acidity and bitter lemon defining the finish. Another strict old-school Chablis from Didier Picq that should age with style. (Neal Martin)
