    2014 / 750 ml. | Item#93117

    RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 28th Feb 2017
Deep garnet in color, the 2014 Zinfandel Fighting Brothers offers an abundance of black fruit preserves and blueberry pie notes plus underlying spice cake, incense and chocolate box hints. The richly fruited, full-bodied palate is packed with dried berries and spice layers, framed by velvety tannins and much needed freshness, which contributes a lively lift to the weighty finish.

  4. Substance Cabernet Sauvignon

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#80268

    JD9292 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021
Juicy blue fruits, leafy tobacco, violets, and orange blossom notes all emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Cs and it’s medium to full-bodied, has a beautifully balanced, fruit-forward style, no hard edges, and a great finish. It’s no simple fruit bomb and has notable structure, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It reminds me of a top Cru Bourgeois from Bordeaux and represents a stunning value. Drink it over the coming 7–8 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)

Currants, flowers and walnuts on the nose. Medium-bodied with a pretty core of fruit and fine tannins and a crisp finish. Lead pencil. Fresh. Compact. Delicate and delicious. Enjoy. Drink or hold.

  5. I Veroni I Dōmi Chianti Rufina

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#71695

    WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 5/1/2022
Made with organically farmed grapes—90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Colorino—this opens with aromas of black-skinned berry, underbrush and leather. The fragrant, balanced palate offers black cherry, clove and licorice alongside firm, polished tannins. Drink 2023–2030. (Kerin O’Keefe)
    JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, November 4, 2021
A well-defined and typical Chianti Rufina with aromas and flavors of berries and cherries, as well as darker, savory notes of bark and dried herbs. Medium body and grainy tannins that have a dusty-oak coating that absorbs the fruit flavors nicely and gives a long, firm and a slightly bitter, licoricy finish. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but will be better integrated in 2023.

  6. Ercavio Tempranillo Viñas de Meseta

    2017 / 750 ml. | Item#85543

    RP9191 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 10th Sep 2021
I’m glad to see the old Ercavio Roble renamed as the 2017 Ercavio Tempranillo Viñas de Meseta, as the wine is more about the grapes and place than the short aging in oak. I also found it unusually subtle and elegant, floral and spicy, with complex aromas and a velvety palate with some spiciness, very fine tannins and great balance. It’s super drinkable, and I think in 2017 it overdelivers big time. Amazing bargain! 130,000 bottles.

  7. RouteStock Cabernet Sauvignon Route 29

    2017 / 750 ml. | Item#82411

    SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 30, 2020
Open and accessible, with a dollop of warm ganache laid over a core of warm plum and blackberry preserve flavors. Shows just enough juicy energy to offset the toothy, extracted edge on the finish. Drink now through 2023. 20,000 cases made.
    WE8686 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 8/1/2020
This is a value-driven wine blended with 8% Cabernet Franc and smaller amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Clove, cinnamon and plum combine around a core of medium-bodied power and sleek simple tannins.

  8. Tardieu-Laurent Les Becs Fins

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#95544

    JD90+90–92 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 12/14/2020
A similar deep purple/red, the 2019 Cotes Du Rhone Les Becs Fins is another expressive, complex, outstanding wine from this estate. Black raspberries, saddle leather, peppery garrigue, and sandalwood emerge from the glass of this medium to full-bodied, balanced 2019 that has silky tannins and loads of character. It too is ideal for enjoying over the coming 5–6 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)
    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Aug 31, 2021
Solid, this red has a fleshy, juicy feel, with anise-laced plum and blackberry pâte de fruit notes, backed by a graphite edge on the lightly toasted finish. Drink now through 2024. 5,000 cases made, 200 cases imported.

  10. Château Talmont Bordeaux

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#98077

    JS90+90–91 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, June 2, 2022
A nicely polished and relatively soft red with ripe tannins and purple fruit. It’s medium-bodied. Fresh at the end. Nicely done.
    JD87+87–89 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 6/4/2021
The 2020 Château Talmont is another solid Bordeaux offering medium to full-bodied richness as well as impressive cassis and black raspberry fruits intermixed with hints of flowers, violets, and graphite. It has some grippy tannins, but I like the overall balance as well as the length on the finish. (Jeb Dunnuck)
    VN86+86–88 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2021
The 2020 Talmont offers good up-front intensity in its jammy dark fruit, chocolate and dried herbs. There is good depth and persistence, but hard tannins and slight vegetal undertones are a bit distracting today. (Antonio Galloni)
