"Medium gold in color. The nose is immediately heathery and honeyed, then some fruits — ripe oranges — come into play along with a wonderful camphor-like aroma and a dash of peat. The body is big and lush, and the palate, spicy and peppery at first, bears a complex multitude of flavors: smoldering wood. overripe fruits, old, supple leather, fresh ginger and a very pleasant mossy/earthy backdrop.
