    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#81514

    RP90+90–92 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Oct 2020
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Daou’s Discovery Series is blended with 10% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. It is still in barrel but will age around 10 months in 60% new French oak. It has a deep ruby-purple color and a nose of cassis, garrigue, charcuterie and sweet baking spices. The palate is medium-bodied, lifted and gently structured with grainy tannins and good freshness, finishing long.

    2015 / 750 ml. | Item#83333

    WE92+92–94 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 5/1/2016
This wine has a fine, dense texture that is impressive with its smooth velvet character. The tannins are dark, solid and show a dry side to balance the beautiful juicy fruit. Although this is a second wine, it does have the structure of a wine more senior than that.
    JS92+92–93 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Wednesday, March 23, 2016
Very minerally and salty with lots of dried fruit, currant and floral aromas and flavors. Full body, silky tannins and a fresh finish. Excellent second wine.
    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2018
Solid, with bramble-edged grip and good drive to the mix of plum, red currant and raspberry coulis flavors, lined with a bright iron streak and backed by a racy savory edge on the finish. Best from 2020 through 2027. 5,000 cases made.
    VN89+89–92 pts. - Vinous - Apr 2016
A voluptuous, dark wine, the 2015 La Parde de Haut-Bailly offers notable depth. Black cherry, plum, graphite, leather and dark spices are all fused together. In 2015, La Parde is especially dense and inviting, which makes it a very serious second wine. The blend is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.
    RP88+88–90 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st Apr 2016
The 2015 La Parde de Haut-Bailly has quite a high-toned bouquet with blueberry and cassis. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannin, a hint of graphite with ample blackberry and blueberry. This is a structured La Parde de Haut-Bailly, grippy and slightly chalky with a precise finish. This comes recommended.

  6. Renato Corino Barolo

    2012 / 750 ml. | Item#85184

    JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, March 10, 2016
A generous and beautiful Barolo with dried strawberry, flower and grilled steak character. Medium to full body, ripe tannins and a delicious finish. Drink or hold.
    SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Oct 15, 2016
Bassy notes of wet earth, plum and tar are the hallmarks of this Barolo, with accents of cherry and spice. The tannins are ripe and round, showing a good amount of grip on the finish. Best from 2018 through 2030. 666 cases made.
    VN8888 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2016
The 2012 Barolo is forward and fruit-driven, with plenty of near-term appeal. Because of the wine’s mid-weight structure, the French oak is a bit evident. Sweet red cherry, mint, crushed flowers, cinnamon and wild flowers are laced into the perfumed, silky finish. The 2012 is a bit on the light side, but it is attractive just the same.
