Cote de Beaune
Named after the city of Beaune, Cote de Beaune is home to some of the world's greatest Pinot Noirs (with Pinot Noir accounting for most of the district's production). The district makes up the Southern half of Burgundy's Cote d'Or. Top wines from here are classified as Grand Cru, while the next best group fall under the Premier Cru classification.
