Full, intense nose with scents of violets, black cherry and leather. The mouthfeel is soft, with ripe tannins so silky-smooth that they feel creamy. Enjoy with aged cheeses, roasts or stewed meats.

The nose is soft and carries rich aromas of ripe black cherries. The palate is lush and full of fresh blackberries, currants and hints of cranberries. Light spice notes and bright cherry fruit are carried by soft, pulpy tannins. Easy to enjoy, and will prove to be a great accompaniment to hearty red sauce.
We found this wine while at Vin Italy; it is one of the most impressive examples of Barberesco we’ve tasted. Pepper and spice on the nose, with hints of anise and herbs, lead to a rich, smooth, well-balanced wine with loads of fruit. A must-try from a new and upcoming producer. Very limited!
