The 2007 Primus is a glass-coating opaque purple with aromas of tar, licorice, pepper, blackcurrant, and blueberry. Youthful, structured, and balanced, it will evolve for 5–7 years and offer prime drinking from 2015 to 2025.

Focused, with a tangy grilled herb streak running through the solid core of crushed red plum, cherry and red currant fruit. Mineral and briar hints fill in on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Carmenère. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Vivid ruby. Pungent aromas of redcurrant, cherry, mint and cedar. Juicy and high-pitched, with brisk acidity adding cut to the zesty red fruit flavors. Youthfully closed today but conveys an impression of finesse and balance. Finishes with lingering cherry and mint notes.
