Deep tawny amber hue. Pungent caramel, sugar cane, and coffee aromas. A rounded attack leads to a medium-bodied palate with an explosion of flavor. Well balanced and lengthy.

Sports the color of coffee, except that it owns a ruby core color that’s seriously attractive; excellent purity. Smells of fresh-brewed coffee, tobacco, and smoke; aeration brings about a distant scent of vanilla bean that’s the perfect counter to the concentrated coffee aroma. Entry is sweet, coffee-like, beany, and caramelized; the midpalate offers a bit of relief from the sugary sweetness, but overall is pleasing due mostly to the bitterness of the coffee element. Ends up coffee bean-like, properly bitter, with the vanilla aspect coming back into play. Recommended.
