The nose is clean, with just the tiniest hint of grain. The body is big, and the palate, like the nose, is extremely clean — just a faint taste of sweet butter lurks here. The finish is long (especially for a vodka) and very warm.

Scents of lightly toasted grain. The palate entry is stunningly silky and grainy sweet; at midpalate the taste profile turns sap-like and creamy with undercurrents of burning matches or seared beefsteak. Finishes creamy and rich.

Clear and relatively pure; scents of lightly toasted grain, almost like Wheat Thins, are notes in the first three minutes of inhalations — another six minutes in the glass does very little to stimulate further aromatic depth; the palate entry is stunningly silky and grainy sweet, with a slightly toasted background flavor — at midpalate, the taste profile turns sap-like and creamy, with undercurrents of burning matches and seared beefsteak; finishes creamy and rich, ideally sweet and poised; had the bouquet shown more finesse, it would have earned a fifth rating star.
