Pleasantly toasty and buttery in the first nosings; aeration stimulates lightly peated scents of butterscotch, light toffee and marzipan. The palate entry features delightful and gently sweet grain and caramel tastes; the midpalate sensation is round, slightly prickly, buttery and caramel sweet.

Light amber appearance. Medium-bodied. Soft peat, orange peel, citrus. Soft malty nose reveal a measure of richness and weight on the smooth palate with a lingering finish. this does exhibit some good malty notes throughout giving it a full presence.

A fine yet smooth and spicy blended Scotch whisky for a straightforward Scotch and soda, or a classic cocktail like a Rob Roy or Rusty Nail.
