The quintessential London Dry Bouquet features notes of cedary juniper with subtle notes of citrus and minerals. The palate entry is creamy, smooth, substantial and bracing; tastes of lemon/orange peel add a perfect touch of astringency to the velvety texture at midpalate. Finishes round and full. A distilling masterpiece and the gin category’s benchmark.

The nose is fresh, herbal and very dry, and the medium body follows suit on the palate. Complex herbal/floral/spicy notes function as a backdrop to clean, crisp, perfumey juniper notes that jump out in front of you. A world-class gin that makes incredible martinis.

Medium full body. Tangerine, fresh herbs, minerals. Creamy, lush texture. Assertive style offers rich flavors with pungent aromatic elements. Strong, rich finish.

Inside the recognizable green bottle, look for bold juniper plus notes of anise, lemon peel, and a faint white-floral touch, laced with black pepper heat. Overall, a clean, classic profile that’s just the ticket for gin & tonics.

The vibrant juniper and licorice flavor and a pretty, slightly floral, rosewater finish is braced up with a peppery spine. Give this gin some time to open up for optimal aromatics — the reward is a citrusy zing. Good value.

Bestselling Tanqueray Special Dry English Gin is distilled in Finsbury, England, which at one time was world famous for its spa and rejuvenating waters. The gin has a creamy, medium-weight body and a captivating bouquet redolent with the piney aroma of juniper and delicate lemon and orange notes. its palate is deeply saturated with tart, slightly bitter citrus flavors that have made Tanqueray the preferred choice to mix with the bittersweets flavor of quinine and lime.

Smooth, mouth-coating entry with concentrated aromas and flavors of juniper, citrus, and caraway; pleasantly firm with white pepper finish. Distilled four times.

: January, 2001

Elegant, forward juniper berry and spice aromatics, with citrus accents. Textured and smooth, with complex and layered flavors, including vanilla, coriander and juniper; long-layered finish. Top-notch.

The ultimate London Dry gin, pure and simple. The gin for classic Dry Martini and Gin & Tonic. The gin for anything in my book. It just simply walks the walk, time and again, year after year. Likely entrant into SJHoF soon. The greatness of Tanqueray is measured in its consistent brilliance.

A wonderful juniper nose, with tones of lemon and orange. Bit light but subtle. Exciting tastes. Balanced, with long teasing flavors.

Flawless purity; silvery hue. The piny/cedary juniper breaks loose from the copita, filling the room with sap-like fragrance; aeration only serves to deepen the juniper presence while bringing into the picture subtle notes of citrus and minerals; in my 20 years of spirits evaluation experience, this remains the quintessential London Dry gin bouquet. The palate entry is creamy, elegant, smooth as silk yet substantial and bracing; at the midpalate stage, a flurry of lemon/orange peel adds the ideal touch of astringency to the velvety texture. Finishes round, full, and comfortable as an old jacket. A distilling masterpiece; gin’s benchmark.

Smooth, well balanced, and distinctive with orange oil, ripe tangerine, flowers, and pine needles aromas and flavors. elegant. Batch distilled.

Delicate juniper aroma with some citrus and spice notes. Woodsy, nut-like flavors with subdued coriander. The delicate style leans toward vodka, well-suited for Martinis.
