Red cherry and raspberry notes mix with a darker hint of blackberry and spice in this balanced red. There’s tangy acidity and a firm finish. Drink now through 2013.

The most mineral-driven of the Beaujolais Crus, Moulin-à-Vent is capable of producing some of the most serious, long-lived reds from the region. The Domaine de la Passion is focused, with light to medium body and tons of bold red fruits to balance out the stony undertones. A terrific table red, this wine is excellent with sausage, BLTs and risotto.

Ruby red color. Very fruity nose with small mineral hints. The mouth is full and very fruity, with subtle notes of spices. Ideal with all red meats.
