Peach and grapefruit flavors mesh nicely with the supple texture in this rich white. A tangy undercurrent builds toward the grapefruit finish.

The tank-aged 2009 Roero Arneis Renesio is made in a riper, rounder style than the Trinita. It shows gorgeous depth in its succulent, juicy peaches, flowers and spices. As delicious as this is, I prefer the more focused Trinita. Anticipated maturity: 2010–2012.

Clean pineapple aromas and bright citrus fruit are the main characteristics of this northern Italian. This refreshing style with clean flavors makes it a perfect match for any kind of fish or salad.
