Alma Rosa Pinot Noir

Deep red. Smoky oak and black raspberry on the nose. Lively red berry flavors are firmed by juicy acidity and given depth by a slow-building dark chocolate quality. The finish features an interesting Campari-like bitterness and a lingering note of cracked pepper. Not a particularly easy style, but nicely suited to strongly seasoned red meat dishes.

Balanced, with spicy plum, herb, sage and hints of cedar and anise, ending with a drying herbal aftertaste. Drink now through 2010.

The wine has a beautiful floral nose and is ruby red in color. Delicate nuances of strawberry and raspberry dance upon one’s palate, ending with a long and luscious finish. Medium-bodied with a hint of spice, it is balanced and rounded out with soft tannins.
