Golden in color, this smells bright, with fresh pear and pineapple aromas alongside a faint smokiness. An attractive, forward sweetness quickly morphs into iodine astringency, finishing with lemon peel and light smoke accents. It feels light on the palate, while the brush of peat on the finish grows in intensity with each sip.

Full golden-yellow hue. Smooth sandalwood and malty aromas. Elegant mineral, sweet-malt flavors with a touch of caramel sweetness on the medium-bodied palate. Finishes crisply.

The gorgeous amber/honey hue catches the light perfectly and completely charms the eye — excellent purity; the perfumed opening aroma is mildly grainy, gently peaty — a delightful example of Speyside’s genial, heathery side; in the mouth, the entry flavor displays the grain which seems exceptionally malty and smoked — the midpalate is sweeter than the entry as the peat subsided and the malt takes the helm.
