True fruit fragrance of orange peel oils, tangerine and a touch of lemon. Restrained and light on the palate, with most of the orange on the lingering finish.

Properly clear, bright, and sediment-free; the first nosing pass reveals an intensely orangy/citrusy aroma that leaps from the sampling glass — subsequent sniffings after some aeration time see the aroma go very much in the direction of fresh orange peel rather than pulp as the bouquet loses some of the early-on acidity — the last pass confirms the second and third nosings as the bouquet bears a striking resemblance to the yellowish inside skin of an orange — a good bouquet that’s relatively true to the fruit source; the taste at palate entry is citrusy but not in the least bitter or acidic — the midpalate stage offers a moderately sweet, orange skin flavor that’s crisp and clean; the aftertaste is very citrusy, crackling, and bordering on being bitter; a good mixing vodka.
