Blueberry, purple. Anise, minerals, spice. Rich, plush texture. Fat, broad palate with great concentration and presence. Packed with firm licorice and blueberry flavors. Very nicely structured, with a clean, albeit deep grip.

Sniffings pick up beany and dry aromas along with licorice. The palate entry is guardedly sweet but intensely licorice-like; at midpalate the aniseed component develops deliciously well within the licorice flavor frame. Finishes svelte and bittersweet.

Jet black/black coffee appearance. The opening sniffings pick up beanier and dried aromas than the Bianca; by the latter stages of the second nosing phase the appealing scent of licorice is the dominant aroma. The palate entry is guardedly sweet but intensely licorice-like; at midpalate, the aniseed component develops deliciously well within the licorice flavor frame. Finishes svelte, bittersweet, and pleasingly licorice-like.
