A dry sparkling wine that embodies natural high acidity, long silky flavors and a delicate crispness; an interesting alternative to everyday chardonnay.

Basically a a Chardonnay-only brut. It has nice peach and apple flavors and a bit of sugar to soften it, but it’s basically dry, and of course a little lighter and more elegant than the regular brut.

A bold California style, offering big aromas of toasty oak and tropical fruit, with easygoing flavors of lemon and apple that show lots of spice. Drink now.

If you love big, toasty California Chardonnays, this is the bubbly for you. A lot of spicy tropical fruit and pear flavors are balanced with lively acidity. Drink now though 2012.

Ripe and juicy, like a Chardonnay with bubbles. Shows notes of toasty tropical fruit, spice and pear. Drink now.

This is Korbel’s Chardonnay-based sparkling wine, and it showcases the house style of clean acidity, slight sweetness and scouring bubbles. The Chardonnay shines through in its typical notes of lime and kiwi fruit.

Lots of savory vanilla, orange and sweet Meyer lemon flavors in this sparkling wine. The bubbles are a little rough and scoury, but it’s pretty good for the price.

Bold and juicy, with tropical fruit and spicy vanilla aromas that lead to easygoing pear and cinnamon roll flavors. Drink now.

Tastes like a country-style Chardonnay with bubbles. The flavors of peaches and green apples have a doughy edge, and the wine is elegant and dry.

Good price for a sparkling wine of this quality. It’s smooth and creamy with layers of Mandarin orange, peach, vanilla and smoky yeast that finish with a honeyed richness.

Well composed with a strong apple quality starting with the fairly muted nose and continuing across the palate and into the finish with a baked apple/cinnamon quality. Slightly creamy, with a soft mouthfeel.

Basically a blanc de blancs, and a pretty nice one at that, despite a certain roughness of texture. It’s dry and crisp, showing yeasty flavors of peaches, limes and vanilla.

85 pts. : December 1, 2004

Similar to Korbel’s brut, but less full-bodied, this dry, crisp wine is elegant. Finishes with citrus, peach, vanilla and yeast flavors.

84 pts. : December 31, 2008

Tastes like Chardonnay with bubbles and yeast. With a slightly sweet finish, this bubbly has flavors of limes, green apples and lees.

84 pts. : December 15, 1998

Starts off with toasty aromas backed by hints of fig and apple. Bubbles on the big side, and the finish is a touch herbal. Drink now.

Pleasant enough, with bright apple and citrus flavors. Finishes clean and fresh. Drink now.

Medium-bodied and crisp with aromas and flavors of toasted wheat, lemon, tangerine, and sesame seed.
