Bright ruby. Raspberry and cherry on the nose, with complicating notes of celery seed and anise. Spicy and firm on entry, then sweeter and rounder in the middle palate, offering tangy red fruit flavors and a touch of bitter herbs. Refreshingly brisk on the finish, with the cherry and herbal notes repeating.

A supple, easy-drinking red, showing lots of black currant and blackberry flavors, with accents of violet, tea leaf and tobacco. Modest finish. Drink now.
