All the Cristalino cavas are “metodo tradicional”; the rose is especially interesting; aromatic and flavorful with hints of strawberry and cherry; not totally dry; great for brunch.

A moussy, creamy, fresh and light Champagne, with velvet apples and cream character. There is a touch of citrus, but this so-fruity wine is lively and instantly delicious.

A vinous version, showing an array of ground spices, with well-meshed flavors of sun-dried cherry, macerated plum, toasted almond and subtle balsamico. Lively, with a creamy bead. Drink now.

This juicy rosé is very tasty and well-balanced, with lots of red and black fruit notes, joined by ripe cherry, spice, almond and lemon zest flavors. Moderate finish. Drink now.

Salmon-colored and dense, with aromas of clay, cherry and brown sugar. Pinot Noir-ish in its smoky, dried-berry palate and peppery finish. Robust, solid and with texture.

Almost red in color, with bright but reduced strawberry and cherry aromas. The palate bursts with the flavor of raspberry sorbet, and the feel is smooth and easy. Not a complex wine, but a fun one if you like some red-fruit sweetness.

A juicy rosé cava, loaded with ripe cherry, blackberry and currant fruit, all framed by lively acidity. A good aperitif. Drink now.

With its strawberry liqueur scent and peppery fruit flavor, this is a fine, lightly sweet Cava for a Sunday picnic in the park.

: January, 2004

Bright tangerine color, high-toned red-wine flavors with zingy citrus acidity.

: December, 2008

Light bodied with fruity aromas and notes of rose hip, eucalyptus, and flowers. Austere, with a short, crisp finish. Aperitif.
