90–95 pts.Wine Enthusiast: May, 2006
The aroma is a sweet/sour, tangerine/Mandarine orange perfume that never stops enchanting. At the palate entry the orange zest’s acidity mingles gracefully with the Cognac’s alcohol, making for delicious drinking. Satiny finish.

Goldenrod-orange color. Unique, sweet-sour bouquet of mandarin orange and a hint of Cognac. Supple, satiny on tongue; tastes of orange zest and sinewy Cognac; the alcohol-acid-fruit harmony is seamless. A timeless liqueur.

Medium amber in color; the aromas are distinctly bitter orange zest with some pears lurking in the backdrop. The body is big, oily, and creamy, and the palate — sweet but not overly sweet — follows the nose precisely. The finish is long, and here we find a delightful peppery characteristic that rounds out the experience.
Santé: October, 2000
Aromas of orange, vanilla, lemon rind and caramel, with a slight nutty nose. Thick and rich, with orange rind and vanilla flavors. beautifully integrated and elegant; persistent finish.
Santé: October, 2006
Assertive orange, bitter orange, and dried fruit aromas and flavors; some heat in the finish.
