Ruby-copper hue with brown highlights. Rich, generous aromas and a concentrated attack with golden raisin flavors and a rich mouthfeel. The finish shows complexity and sweet persistence with rancio and brown spice flavors. This is a fatter style, with amontillado-like complexity.

A complex and full-bore tawny, with deep, intense flavors of orange cream, glazed apricot, baked peach and roasted pineapple that are balanced by concentrated chocolate and toffee notes. The bright finish is filled with spice and supported by fresh acidity. Drink now.

Pale copper cast. Medium-bodied. Moderately extracted. Caramel, rancio, peat. Quite aromatic with a complex character and very deep flavors on the palate. Lean through the finish with great intensity and length.

Copper-red hue. Spicy, well-aged aromas have a complex array of components such as coffee, leather, and sweet fruits. Follows through well on the silky palate with nutty, toffee-like flavors lingering on the finish. A lovely example of the tawny genre.

This is a hugely dry, burnt style, very concentrated. The licorice and bitter coffee flavors are dense, layered and well balanced with the acidity. A serious wine that demands attention.

Light ruby color; rich rancio and berry nose; silky and toasty with bright acidity and lovely structure; elegant, complex and long.

Offers caramel notes on the nose, with good cut to the ripe cherry and fruitcake flavors. Toffee and caramel accent the fresh finish, with notes of milk chocolate.

This 20-year-old shows some surprisingly youthful notes of red fruits along with layers of caramel, honey, maple syrup and walnuts. Nicely balanced.

Pretty honey, caramel and butterscotch, with a hint of prunes. Medium-bodied and medium sweet, with a fresh finish. Try it with chocolate. Drink now.

Not as balanced as the 10-year-old. Really vibrant masses of honey, butterscotch and crème brûlée flavors. Medium-bodied, very fresh, long honey and orange peel finish. Slightly hot. Drink now.

Buttery, caramel flan flavors enrich this mature, toasty tawny. It finishes warm, with a silky custard softness rather than grip. Serve with a walnut or almond tart.

Lovely full wine — simple edge but some lively fruit too. Complex palate refreshed by young fruit. Art of blackberry. Drink now.
