If you’re a Chianti or Rioja drinker looking to try something new, the Poggio il Castellare Passo dei Caprioli is definitely one to buy. Medium-bodied, with bright red fruits and great acidity, this is an excellent table red for any chicken, sausage or pasta dish. Red currant and raspberry dominate on the palate, with subtle spice notes showing underneath.
