A blend of traditional Portuguese red grapes — Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Touriga Nacional — the Pomares is a terrific alternative to your favorite Malbec or Merlot. Medium- to full-bodied, with a fantastically smooth texture and excellent red and black fruit, lots of spice and hints of smoke, this wine is perfect for steak, roasted pork or lamb dishes.
