Layered with subtle hints of spice and dark fruit, the heavy mouthfeel of this Chianti is full and inviting. Strawberry and raspberry show through a dense, earthy body that is heavy enough to pair with red sauces and meat-based dishes, but delicate enough to highlight the interplay of a silky texture and firm tannins. The finish brings more earthy, peppery notes together with a lasting hint of strawberry. This is a great value for a complex, food-friendly wine.

This fresh, intense and penetrating Chianti is made from 90% Sangiovese. Harmonious and balanced, with notes of cherries and violets, it is a very good everyday Chianti to accompany your Italian fare.
