Wines from Argentina are excellent in quality at bargain prices. This Merlot offers a deep purple color, and intense aromas with hints of black currants, pepper and oriental spices. It is round with rich tannins and shows a balance of ripe fruit, tannic structure and acidity. A great wine for sipping alone or serving with tacos or chili.

Blue fruit, spice, vanilla and a little coffee mocha all come together with a smooth and satisfying finish. Nicely done. Can be served with lighter dishes, semi-soft cheeses or angel hair pasta, lightly tossed with diced tomatoes and dressed with oil and basil.
