L’Aurore Mâcon-Chardonnay

From the heart of white Burgundy comes this fresh and delicious Chardonnay. Incredibly bright, with pineapple, banana and lemon-lime fruit notes, and no perceptible oak. The crisp acidity gives good backbone and lends itself to numerous food pairings, including Caesar salad, tilapia and grilled chicken dishes.

This light and minerally wine is chock full of the pear, red apple and quince flavors that make Chardonnay from the Mâcon so mouthwateringly delicious.

Like apple picking in the fall. Plenty of apple/pear and honeysuckle flavors followed by a firm middle and then a hint of vanilla and clove in the end. Deep and rather complex for this price point. Try it with fresh, poultry or simply with a soft cheese spread on flatbreads.
