A rich yet firm white, offering a nice integration of apple, melon and spicy oak flavors, with moderate concentration and length. Drink now through 2009.

I was drawn to the Chateau de Rully because of the uncommon appellation; Rully is further south from the Cote d’Or, where we find most of our major Burgundies. So maybe it’s just the slightly warmer climate, but the fruit on the Chateau de Rully is incredibly ripe and candied. I love the juiciness of this French Chardonnay; even with a few years of bottle age, it’s still so fresh tasting! Definitely worth a try for any mildly spicy or savory white meat dish.

A star-bright, light gold Chardonnay that is strikingly luminescent in the glass. This superbly balanced wine sports a silky texture with sparkling clean flavors. Crisp, sweet apple, with loads of racy minarality and a a subtle toastiness on the finish. Sinewy and concentrated with a long, citrus finish.
