Tasted blind, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted by this deep, dark Cahors. A terrific balance between fruit and oak results in notes of dark cherry, berry, sausage and spices. This French Malbec tastes like a meeting between the structure of Bordeaux and the fruitiness of Syrah. Finishes with serious grip and length.

This blend of 70% Malbec, 20% Merlot, and 5% Tannat is aged 18 months, mostly in concrete vats, before bottling. The finished wine is dark and strong, with spice, leather and earth accents pointing up the deep berry flavors.
