Big sweet fruit, blueberry confection especially, jumps out of the glass and lures you into tasting this wine. The wine has softened over the past six years, allowing the flavors of strawberries, raspberries, and spice to shine through. There are still some tannins but they are mild and round, making this wine a great match for barbecued chicken or pork this summer

This special vintage of their Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel marks the 100th anniversary of the vineyard. Ripe with fresh berries, it has a powerful nose of fresh raspberry and cherry. Smooth as silk, its mid- and back-palate fill in with jam and chocolate. Beautiful now, or hold for deeper result to 2009.
