A lively, full-bodied red with a fresh, intense aroma infused with the scent of wild berries and vanilla. On the palate it expands into a warm, robust flavor with a pleasant, sustained aftertaste. Wild fruits and earthy tones of tobacco and leather jump all over the palate and continue through the finish. A little tight now, but can be drunk with a few hours of decanting; if you’re patient, cellar it until 2008.
