Firm and flavorful, this white offers apricot and candied lemon peel and ample body for a spätlese. Concentrated, it needs time to integrate all its elements. Tactile finish. Best from 2006 through 2020.

Stunning purity with hints of mineral, white peach and apple aromas. Enters sweet, fully ripe and then explodes with lemony apricot, slate and a long, mouthwatering, green apple finish. At 11% alcohol, despite the initial sweetness, the overall impression is of a semi-dry. Fantastic complexity and flavor.

A pineapple nose is combined with multi-layered fruit flavors. Juicy initially, like biting into a bunch of ripe grapes; that’s followed by a wave of minerals. It has considerable substance without being heavy, and an enormous elegance. It is a complete and wonderfully-balanced late harvest Riesling.

Sweet aromas of spiced apricot and tangy pear in the nose of this surprisingly structured Spätlese. The effusive ripeness of the 2003 vintage is contained here by delineated stone fruits, soft minerality and firm acidity. Brilliant pale gold color in the glass with delicious complexity on the palate — Asian pear, peaches, white pepper and Jona Gold apples. Outstanding.
