Superconcentrated aromas, with loads of jam, almost raisin aromas, with hints of spices and flowers. Full-bodied, with good and refined tannins and a medium finish. A bit short. Should develop with age. Best after 2004.

Round and smoky, with more modern touches than many riserva-level Brunelli. The bouquet offers sweet fruit, while the palate delivers a full-court press of cherry and raspberry along with firm, hard-hitting tannins. Lively acids and a bit sharp. Not one-dimensional, but not overly complex, either.
Santé: January, 2004
Black raspberry, cherry, and cedar with a floral note; long finish with firm tannins and high acidity.
