Dark amber with a dark copper cast. Moderately full bodied. Reminiscent of walnuts, cinnamon, pecan pie, maple. Soft, rich texture. A fascinating style: like drinking pie topped with cream. A delight packed with chewy brown spices. The sweet baked sensation keeps intensifying. An everlasting finish.

Aged for a minimum of eight years, this full-bodied amber rum has a fruity scent with a hint of vanilla and sweet caramel flavor with a baking spice finish. Smooth feel. A good choice for mixing into cocktails.

The highly aromatic nose offers waves of cocoa bean, vanilla extract, molasses and dark caramel and old oak. Truckloads of sugarcane sweetness generously but gently blanket the tastebuds. The aftertaste is medium-long, luscious and full of caramel. While not quite in the stratospheric realm of oak-aged superstars like Clement from Martinique and Barbancourt from Haiti, this is a beautifully crafted Bacardi all the same.

Light orange-amber in color; rich and heavy on the palate with a spicy finish of molasses, caramel, and citrus rind.
