Dark red; flavors built around raspberry and currant, with exotic spice, earth and roasted coffee accents. The product of 25–40 year old vines in prime Rioja Alavesa areas, this is an impressive blend of modern international style winemaking, and traditional Rioja flair, with the stuffing to repay 4–5 years in the cellar.
