The nose on this vodka is clean and crisp with faint lemon/pine aromas leaping through. The body is medium, and the palate mostly follows the nose, though here, a faint taste of baked bread adds an extra dimension. The finish is very short.

Medium body. Anise, charcoal, herbs. Soft, smooth texture. Fragrance and light spicy flavors and presented in a well structured format. Delicate, clean finish.
80–84 pts.Wine Enthusiast: June, 2004
Aroma is vaguely grainy, fresh and pleasing in the initial sniffs; further aeration brings out a mildly oily scent. Palate entry is simple, fundamentally sound and intensely dry and grainy; by midpalate, a shy, kernel-like, bittersweet tastes enters the picture, then fades quickly. Ends meek and ethereal.

Medium-bodied. Charcoal, wet store, anise aromas come through on the light, yet spicy, palate. Well structured and balanced with a delicately dry finish. A simple, tries and true vodka that is perfect for mixing into cocktails.
Santé: January, 2001
Medium-bodied, with a fleshy nose of grain and spice that dissipates into a very warm, slightly herbaceous and well balanced finish.
Santé: March, 2004
Smooth and clean with very slight citrus and vanilla aromas and almost no discernible flavors; very good structure and balance. Excellent. Straight vodka martini.
Santé: April, 2006
Very clean aromas and flavors. Smooth and elegant from beginning to end with a slight citrus note in the finish. Excellent.
