Clear. Roasted-grilled peppers, green tomato and dried herbs. Bold, rich texture. Explosive, peppery flavors add great zest and concentration to a full, weighty palate. Very well structured and delineated. Vodka Margarita anyone? Try this with your nachos.

The piquant, intense opening bouquet offers prickly darts of black pepper and hot red chili pepper. Palate entry is mildly hot and spicy, giving off deep tastes of dried red chili pepper; at midpalate, there’s a brief respite but at the finish the chili pepper heat returns, most pleasantly.

Clear as spring eater. The saucy, piquant opening bouquet is reminiscent of jalapeño peppers and Tabasco sauce; later sniffings pick up an almost Tequila-like herbaceousness. Sassy, mildly prickly and intensely peppery on the tongue. Aftertaste is notable for its sudden burst of spicy heat that then warmly fades in the throat. Bloody Mary, anyone?

Well balanced and smooth with prominent but not overpowering pepper. Aromas and flavors include black and white pepper, green olive, Tabasco, and pine resin. Very good. Vodka martini or Bloody Mary.
